Riding is therapeutic and I love to do it the whole year round but there is one reason not to ride… And that is when they spray salt on the roads because it is really eating your bike alive. 

Fortunately it rained in between and on my day off the weather was dry and with 9C perfect for a ride. I wrapped myself in lots of thermo layers and took off with my friend. One advantage having a day off on Wednesday in winter season is that you have the whole road to yourself riding some nice dikes.

To gain some new energy and to warm up we ate a pancake in Wijk bij Duurstede. A week ago we visited the Kawasaki news show which was held on a special location in Soest. If you registered online and showed your bike license you had free admission to the museum. Between military planes, tanks and bikes the  latest 2018 Kawasaki models were shown. A great idea to pick this location to show the new bikes.
